Halloween

Halloween is right around the corner and the kids costumes have already come in...Tommy will be a punk zombie kid and Alyssa will be a Kimono princess...They're really excited about wearing them and showing them off. Tommy has worn his mask all weekend long and Alyssa keeps trying on and off her kimono dress. It's pretty funny to watch. I bought her some boots this weekend and she would not take them off! She was even wearing them with her pajama shirts early Sunday morning :D she is just too much... I overheard her and Tommy having a conversation about how they thought of naming these shoes "boots..." Tommy started saying that he knew why they called them boots. He said, "Alyssa, i know why they call these boots... it's because the noise they make when you walk sounds like these...boot, boot, boot, boot.." He even showed her! It was hilarious to say the least! That kid of mine is a hoot!

METALLICA!!!

We went to see Metallica last month at the American Airlines Center. I got Tomas tickets for his birthday - that was the big surprise :)

We ended up showing up about 30 minutes before they came on stage. Tomas didn't realize how close we would be sitting until we got to the seats. He was amazed! We had never sat anywhere that close before...we knew we were going to have a good time. Which we so totally did! OMG! Tomas got nice and tipsy and made a new friend with the guy that was sitting next to us. I'll have to post some pics soon to see how much fun he was having:) It was an amazing performance and we had a blast...grant it now we have hearing issues, but still awesome! I'm just glad that he enjoyed it as much as he did.

Metallica effin ROCKS!!! I think we'll be going to their next show in Dallas too and yes maybe even close enough to touch them :)

Our 9th Year Wedding Anniversary

Well it's been 9 years now since we said, I DO...and I remember it like it was only yesterday getting ready to say I DO infront of our family and closest friends. It was such an exciting day. This anniversary was extra special...I just feel that this year we will become closer and more in love than ever before! I really hope my feeling is right. I love my husband and despite all the things we've been thru, we still manage to say I love you every day and kiss each other Hello, Good-bye and good night :)

We didn't do anything really special for our anniversary...we had a nice dinner with the kids and then went out for ice cream. We had a good time. This weekend we'll have a date night at a nice restaurant where we can eat anything we want and not worry about the kids picky taste :) I'm really looking forward to being alone with him :) even if it is only for a little while...
